Coronavirus (Covid-19) Update

12th May 2020

Coronavirus (Covid-19) update

Following the announcement from the Prime Minister on Sunday and subsequent guidance issued yesterday I am sure you have many questions about the impact on your school staff and community.  Our team at Heads HR are currently reviewing the latest guidance below:

We do understand these are extremely complex and confusing times with much of the guidance seemingly contradicting itself in addition we are aware of some Trade Union advice to their Members recommending that they do not engage with any planning on the re-opening of schools.

I’m sure you have many questions, as do your staff about what this means for them.  Whilst we try to make sense of the above guidance alongside UK employment law, staff term and conditions and ACAS guidance, we welcome any specific questions you have to inform our FAQ factsheet which we will send out as soon as possible.  Rather than sending these to each individual HR Consultant, please send all questions to [email protected] so these can be collated.

Thanks,

Heads HR
